Miss Chestnut came into our rescue program on April 11, 2013. Miss Chestnut came from the Garvin County Sheriff's Office along with 21 other horses as a cruelty case. Miss Chestnut is a Beautiful, Sorrel, Quarter Horse, Mare. Miss Chestnut is estimated to be 10 years of age. She is a body score of a 4, infested with internal/external parasites. She is super sweet and very smart. She loves attention and always easy to approach and catch. She loads in a trailer and stands for the farrier. Miss Chestnut will be available for adoption soon. Update May 2013 Miss Chestnut is now seeking her forever, loving home. Miss Chestnut is super sweet and loves attention. She is broke to ride. We recommend some tune up time in a round pen or small enclosed area, as we don't know when she was ridden last. Miss Chestnut loads in the trailer and stands for the farrier. Miss Chestnut has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, and hoof maintenance.
